Our Job Fair will introduce you to what it takes to be a Whistlestop driver. You will have an opportunity to ask questions, tour one of our buses, and determine if this might be the right fit for you.
Whistlestop offers rides for people with disabilities who are unable to use public transportation. Our driver positions require a good driving record, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to help others. After completing our pre-employment screening, drivers participate in a fully paid training, preparing you for all aspects of the job as well as training for your Class B Commercial Drivers License (no out-of-pocket expenses for testing or training materials.)
This is a very active job; drivers must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, push, pull and stretch. Drivers must be 21 or older and are required to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and submit to random testing. All applicants must submit a copy of their DMV driving record and a completed employment application in order to be considered.
