Have you got a few hours a week to drive an older adult to their appointments or grocery shopping? Whistlestop is hosting a Volunteer Driver/Rider Networking Party for anyone over 18 wishing to be a volunteer driver for older adults who need rides. Potential drivers have an opportunity to meet older adults who have not been able find a volunteer driver. As a volunteer driver, not only will you be helping older adults in your community, you will also receive reimbursement to cover your gas costs.
