Michael and his Guide Dog “Roselle” were among those working in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Through a remarkable demonstration of trust and teamwork, they escaped from the 78th floor just moments before Tower One collapsed. Michael has since become a well-known promoter of the human/animal bond, teaching audiences about the life-affirming power of trust and teamwork and how to achieve personal success in a changing and diverse world. Michael is also an authority on Assistive Technology and an advocate for empowering people with varying abilities.
I have been a Marin resident for eight years. Because I am blind, Whistlestop has been my primary mode of transportation for work. The service has been exceptional. I am proud to be a member of the Whistlestop Board of Directors and the Whistlestop family.”
